Wellbeing Team

The Wellbeing Team are a dedicated team based in the centre of school trained to support children’s social, emotional and  behavioural wellbeing. We work closely with staff and families to meet the needs of all our children. This is provided in a variety of ways depending on the need at the time. Some of the interventions on offer are:

·         Managed play and lunch

·         Social skills groups

·         Motivation Monday

·         1:1 emotional literacy

·         Behaviour plans, support and advice

·         Support for transition to secondary education

Wellbeing staff are trained mental health first aiders and have level 3 play therapy. Mrs Graveling is trained in cognitive behaviour therapy and is in the process of becoming a Thrive practitoner. Mrs Ffoulkes has also undertaken CAMH training on mental health.

Please contact Mrs Graveling or Mrs Ffoulkes on 01945 428851 if you have any concerns they can help with.

The wellbeing room is at the heart of the school providing children with a safe space to play, with access to both indoor and outdoor play activities. The pictures should provide you with an illustration of some of the activities on offer.
