Online learning

15th January 2021

Dear Parents/Carers,

As of Monday 18th January 2021, we will be making the move to use Microsoft Teams for more of our classes.

After a successful trial with Year 6, more of our classes will be leaving the webpages and work will be located and handed in via Teams.

All children will be issued with a free Microsoft account and password which will allow them to access their assigned tasks and have complete access to Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and other Microsoft tools. These will be set daily, so it will be more manageable around your various family timetables.

Moving to Microsoft Teams also allows us to mark your child’s work and give more constructive feedback, allowing us to move their learning on, which is crucial at a time like this.

Microsoft Teams is accessible from a number of devices such as smart phones, tablets, laptops, therefore the majority of families will be able to access it.

The Teachers moving to Teams are:

Mrs Vaitekunaite and Miss Smith – Year 3

Mr Rouse and Mrs Hall – Year 4

Miss Hall and Mrs Ackah – Year 5

Mrs Jacobs – Year 6

Please use the “How to” guides to help you navigate Microsoft Teams. Your first point of contact if you experience any issues will be your child’s class teacher.

We look forward to seeing you all online!
